22 weeks

So we got to go hear Baby Love's heartbeat on Monday. I LOVE it. I could listen to it all day... seriously!! She asked where he was hiding, so I said I felt him mostly on the left side and she immediately found him. But then he moved around. He kept playing hide and seek with the doppler. She finally got him to hold still long enough to get a count of 148 bpm.

I unfortunately have now caught the flu. It started out with a horribly dry cough on Monday and Tuesday. I never carried a fever, but thought I should call the Dr anyways to see what I could take. He told me to take Benadryl Allergy. Not sure how it was going to help, but I bought it anyways. So, I decided to take work off today to try and rest. Good thing I did, I now have horrible aches and a temp of 100.5:( I feel horrible. Let me complain for a minute: My chest hurts from coughing, my sides hurt from coughing, I swear I pee every time I cough (not really but you get the gist), I have horrible aches that my skin is crawling, I can't get comfortable because my hips hurt so bad, the list keeps going but I think you get the point. I even googled if I was hurting my baby from coughing so much. But have no fear the computer says Baby Love is going to be just fine.

So anyways, I had to call my OB because of my temp and they sent me in a script for tamiflu. They won't even see you anymore so you don't expose the office, so they call in tamiflu. Then I had to call my normal dr because I needed more of my inhaler because my asthma is out of wack. I hate having to take so much meds while pregnant, but they assure me I and the baby will be fine. So tonight my cocktail will be 2 puffs of albuterol, tamiflu, zofran and unisom. *Sigh* I sure hope baby love doesn't hate me for all this:( You know what's the best about all this, is I just got the flu shot on Friday. Yup, I get the flu shot and end up getting the flu. This happened last time I got it too, so therefore I refuse to get it ever again!!

• How big is baby?: He should be a pound:)
  
• Maternity clothes?: Yup
  
• Stretch marks?: None so far *knock on wood*
  
• Sleep?: I fall asleep ok, then wake up coughing... so not so great this week.
  
• Best moment this week?: Hearing the heartbeat
• Sex: Boy!!
  
• Movement?:Love love love it!!!
  
• Food cravings?: Hot and sour soup from China Express. I've had it 3 times this week.
  
• Labor signs?: None!! Please stay away for awhile!!
  
• Belly button in or out?: It's flat
  
• What I miss: Right now I'm pretty content:)
  
• What I'm looking forward to: Still Jared feeling the baby move!!!
• Milestone: Over half way to meeting or baby boy!!

21 Weeks

Other then complete and utter exhaustion I think I am starting to feel normal. *THINK* is the key word... knock on wood. I felt little man on the outside a few days last week, then I went through a few days of hardly feeling him at all:( I was starting to get worried, go figure! So today and yesterday my student was out sick, so I was only at school for half a day! Today, I decided to go to the mall and get a baby outfit for my brother in laws wedding next May. I must say, it is the cutest darn outfit ever!! I will post pics of it later. On my way home, I got some hot and sour soup and egg rolls for lunch. Baby Love either loved or absolutely hated it because it's the most active I have ever felt him. I LOVED it:) I could actually watch my belly moved when he kicked it. I wish he would do this more often because mommy loves it!

• How far along?: 21 weeks
  
• Total weight gain: Only a pound or so from last week....I hope
  
• How big is baby?: He should be a pound:)
  
• Maternity clothes?: Yup
  
• Stretch marks?: None so far *knock on wood*
  
• Sleep?: We still have a love hate relationship, but more love then hate.
  
• Best moment this week?: Just now when I ate my soup, I LOVE feeling him kick and move!!
  
• Sex: Boy!!
  
• Movement?: Can't get enough!
  
• Food cravings?: I enjoy most all foods now:)
  
• Labor signs?: None!! Please stay away for awhile!!

20 weeks...HALF WAY!!!

I can't believe I am half way through my pregnancy! YAY! Less if our little man decides to show up a little early (but baby love only a few weeks is all I will accept...no earlier please:) Cook for as long as you can!!). I will post more later but here is the survey:)

• How far along?: 20 weeks
  
• Total weight gain: Only a pound or so from last week....I hope
  
• How big is baby?: Almost a pound is what the books say
  
• Maternity clothes?: Yup. I can still wear some non maternity shirts, but all maternity pants.
  
• Stretch marks?: None and hoping to keep it that way
  
• Sleep?: I just realized I haven't slept straight through the night in over a month. I wake up starting at around 1am with my hips aching like no other. It WILL be worth it
  
• Best moment this week?: Feeling the baby kick on the outside yesterday!
  
• Sex: All BOY:)
  
• Movement?: I feel him every day now, some days more then others.
  
• Food cravings?: I want Krispy Kreme donuts like you wouldn't believe.
  
• Labor signs?: Baby Love and I had a talk and I asked him very politely to stay in until my due day. So none so far:)
  
• Belly button in or out?: Yeah, it's almost flat.
  
• What I miss: A great nights sleep
  
• What I'm looking forward to: Jared feeling the baby move!!!
• Milestone: Making it HALF WAY through this pregnancy!!

19 weeks

So I slacked last week and didn't do a survey... but I think I am forgiven giving I had my big u/s and our 2 year anniversary! What a week that was. We found out we were having a boy and the next day was our 2 year anniversary. I can't believe we have been married for 2 whole years. Time flies. Jared has had to work soooo much lately and so he got me beautiful flowers and a decorative broom I have wanted for fall. It smells like cinnamon! YUM!! We went out for a nice steak dinner and a date to buybuybaby! It was overwhelming and fun!

I can't believe next week I will be half way through my pregnancy! Our baby boy is growing and so is my belly:) Here is the survey for the week!

• Total weight gain: Umm... at our u/s I was up 10 pounds! YIKES:/
  
• How big is baby?: At the u/s he was 9oz so I am sure he is bigger then that now

• Sleep?: We have a love hate relationship! I love to sleep, but am waking up every hour to switch sides because my hips hurt. I got a new body pillow today, so we shall see.
