29 Weeks

As I type this I am getting kicked so hard in the side...and I love it:) This is seriously the hardest I have ever felt him move!! It's crazy! My stomach is just moving all around:)

Anyways, things are crazy with the holidays. We went to 3 Christmas parties this weekend! We had my husbands Christmas party Saturday night where I got to meet all the people at his work. He just started this job a few months ago, so I've only met a handful of them before then. Everyone was really nice! Sunday night 3 friends I went to high school with and I got together for our annual Christmas party:) We always have a great time! I love getting together with the girls because it is one of the only times we are all able to get together at the same time.

Tomorrow is our last day of school before winter break. The kids have been crazy! I am so ready for break. I only have one month left when we return! I can't believe it. I am taking off a month before my due date to "relax" and try and get things done. I'm happy but sad. I am happy I get to stay home with our son, but I will miss my student a lot. I'll also miss the social interaction:)

I only have 2 more days with Kyle. I am taking off until the baby comes, and then who knows! I have been with Kyle and his family for 6 almost 7 years. His family is like my second family. It is bitter-sweet, but needed. I am exhausted after school and then going over there when I leave is even more exhausting. Long story short.... it is what's best.

28 Weeks

Time is flying by. When people used to ask when I was due, I would say "Oh, not until March." Now when they ask and I say "March" they always reply with "Wow that's coming up!!" YIKES!!! I am so scared of the labor and delivery part! I am beyond excited to meet our little man, but getting him out scares me beyond belief. I'll admit it, I'm a wuss! I can't handle pain!! So my birth plan and drugs!! Enough to make me not feel anything! I'm ok with that:)

Anyways, I am starting to feel very large! I went and got my hair cut today and sitting in the chair all I could think was "Last time I was here I did not look this round!!" I know I'm pregnant, but come on! I know I've gained more than I should, but I do have to blame some of this on my ADD meds I was on before I got pregnant. It gave me a suppressed appetite so when I stopped taking it I had a have a hard time knowing when to stop:( Once I am done breast feeding, I am so excited to get back on it. I miss being motivated and not distracted by every little thing. Plus the meds helped with my chronic fatigue, so I wasn't half as tired. Yes, again I know I'm pregnant, but this is a whole new level of tired. It is all for our baby boy and I wouldn't change a thing, but I can complain about it:)

This week too, my foot has started really bothering me. I have plantars facitis which can make it very painful to walk and it comes and goes. Now with this extra weight I'm carrying it is exagerating it. I wore my corrective boot for a day but it did nothing for me. So now it's time to make a call to the podiatrist. YAY.... another Dr to add to my list:)

So enough complaining! Sorry, I feel like this whole post is one big complaint!! On a positive note, I LOVE feeling and watching my little one move around my belly. It is just the neatest feeling every. I could sit here and watch him move all day. I know I will miss that once he is on the outside. It's like something I share with him that no one else can have. Selfish I know, but I love it. He got the hiccups the other day for the first time I could feel it:) It took about 5 minutes of constant thumps for me to realize he had the hiccups!! It was so cute. He started getting annoyed and kicking around after about 15 minutes of having them.

  • How far along?: 28 weeks
  • Total weight gain: I've given up looking at the scale... it makes me sad
  • How big is baby?: A little over 2 pds still
  • Stretch marks?: None so far
  • Sleep?: It's starting to get worse. I get up at least 2 times a night to pee and then every hour I am woken by hip pain and I have to roll over.
  • Best moment this week?: Feeling the hiccups:)
  • Sex: Boy!!
  • Movement?: He is making up for last week!
  • Food cravings?: Nothing really this week
  • Labor signs?: None and please stay that way!!
  • Belly button in or out?: It's not a full fledged outtie, but it's getting there.
  • What I miss: Normal jeans that zip and button:)
  • What I'm looking forward to: Christmas!!!!
  • Milestone: 3rd tri baby!!

Trip to Labor and Delivery!

Yup! I started getting cramps today, called the OB and they sent me to Labor and Delivery! Yeah, so on to L&D I went. I got there and had to wait in the waiting room for like 20 minutes just to get checked in. My mom surprised me and showed up because she was "in the area." I was glad she came because I ended up being there for almost 4 hrs. Once in the room they had me put on a gown and they strapped me to monitors. I actually enjoyed being able to sit there and listen to Baby Love's heartbeat the whole time!!

They were watching for contractions and watching his heartbeat. After about 45 min they came in and asked a million questions then informed me they were going to do an exam, check my cervix and do an internal ultrasound! Eekk! I know what a cervix check was like and was NOT looking forward to that. In the meantime I had to pee like no other, but didn't want to say anything because I didn't want them to unstrap me:)

When they came in the said they only needed to check my cervix. Good Lord it felt like they she was sticking her whole hand up my who ha!! OUCH!! Anyways, she said my cervix was closed so that was good:) Now we had to wait for the OB on call to give me the OK to go home.

After an hour of her waiting for her to come out of surgery I couldn't take it and had to page them to let me go to the bathroom. Before I went though, my monitor started going off because it kept losing the baby's heartbeat. That was a little scary, but he was moving around so much he kept going off the monitor. He kept making loud noises when he moved:) But I just moved it around and found it again. Anyways, when I got back from the bathroom they told me it was time to get dressed and I could go home.

They aren't sure what caused my cramps. It could be from doing way too much, dehydration, moving something... pretty much anything. So they told me to take it very easy over the weekend. I can do that:)

And Baby Love please listen to mama... please don't give me any more scares. I'd like you to stay in without anymore scares for at least 10 weeks. I can be uncomfortable and what not... but not else. Please and thank you. Love, Your Mama:)

Here are a few pics my mom took on the phone of my adventure in L&D.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great this year!! I ate so much food and didn't feel guilty for any of it:) Ahh one of the joys of pregnancy. We always have it at my mom and dad's. Jared's parents came up and had dinner with us too. Then Saturday we went to his parents for dinner and went and tagged our Christmas tree. Here are some pics of the holiday weekend!
