Cole is growing leaps and bounds and I am so proud of him. Each day he does something new, my heart swells with pride. He's such a smart little boy...and to be honest that sometimes scares me. For example: He loves playing with his daddy's playstation remote control. If he sees Jared playing a game (which isn't very often) he gets so excited. Jared will give him the extra remote and they "play" together. Well, I was in the kitchen and all of a sudden Cole walks in with one of the remotes. I asked Cole how he got it. I knew it was locked up in the cabinet. The little stinker ripped the child proof lock off, got inside the cabinet and got the controller, shut the door, then put the lock in front of the little girl I babysit. Fluke? Who knows, but all I could do was laugh!!

He is really a comedian. He does stuff all the time to make us laugh, and when he realizes it was funny he will do it again or start laughing with us. He has a mean booty shake that is awesome! Anytime music comes on, his booty just starts dancing. I love how he understands us more now. If I ask him to get me something 8 times out of 10 he does it!! He helps me clean up and claps for himself every time he puts things away. Such a proud boy:)

He loves "talking" on the phone

His new favorite way to play with his toy

I know this is dark, but it is the funniest pic. He loves hanging out under the table!!

25 weeks....

Not only have I been slacking in my blogging, but slacking in keeping up with this pregnancy. It is flying by so fast. Do I really only have 14, almost 13 now, weeks left? Gah! I have so much to do. We finally went and looked at furniture for the nursery, and I completely forgot how expensive that stuff is. Since we are having a girl I decided on white furniture. I love white furniture. Cole has dark cherry and it looks great in his room. We plan on painting the walls in Baby girls nursery a mint green with light pink accents. It will will owl and bird themed. I have so much to do until then. The nursery is our "guest room" but really it's my "when Cole outgrows something I stack it in there" room. So needless to say it's a mess. The closet even still has my wedding dress in it! We are going to be borrowing our parents in the next couple weeks to come and keep Cole company while we get the nursery ready, clean the basement and unclutter the garage. Our house needs help right now, but with Cole glued to my hip...nothing is really getting done. I try...but no luck.

So I'm still feeling great. I am definitely starting to feel really pregnant. Bending over is starting to become uncomfortable and tight, sleeping is kind of a pain because I can't get comfortable, and the heartburn has begun. Other then that, I'm great:) I can't believe how fast things are going this time around and I can't wait to meet baby girl. And one day before she gets here, we will decide on a name!

* How far along?: 25 weeks 5 days
* Total weight gain: 18 pounds (yup...gained 8 pds in 6 weeks thanks to mothers day and my bday)
* Stretch marks?: None
* Sleep?: Starting to get uncomfortable
* Best moment this week?: Same as always...really seeing/feeling her move
* Sex: Girl, girl, girl :-)
* Movement?: She is a busy girl!
* Food cravings?: Meat, smoothies, fruit
* Labor signs?: None, but starting to get more braxton hicks
* Belly button in or out?: starting to pop
* What I miss: Still my energy and motivation!!
* What I'm looking forward to: Getting the nursery ready

And here is what I looked like with Cole for comparison:

I def think I was much bigger with Cole, right....ok not a lot bigger but some???

Mother's Day, Birthday and Summer...oh my!!

Once again...I've been a slacker. I really need to be better at keeping up because so much happens, and I never remember them when I go to write them down! So Mother's Day was great. I got to sleep in and then we went to my parents house for a cook out. Cole, of course, did great:) My parents have a park within walking distance of their house so my dad and I took Cole and my nieces and nephew to the park after dinner. Cole wanted to keep up with them so bad. It was really cute. They all ran to the park and Cole moved his little legs as fast as he could to keep up with them. My niece Emylie is so good with Cole. She stayed with him the whole time and kept him safe:)

Then they all decided to have a little swing time.

Fun time with the cousins and Papaw (my dad)

And some family picture time

And the very next day was my birthday!! Cole woke up in a great mood! We met my mom for lunch and did some shopping. I really needed to go grocery shopping, so the little girl I watch during the week, her mom offered to watch Cole for a couple hours so I could get things done. So I spent most of my birthday afternoon grocery shopping and cleaning...lame, but it so needed done. That evening Jared brought me home cheeesecake from the cheesecake factory and flowers:) We took a nice long walk because the weather was beautiful!! It was a great birthday.

In other news, I've taught Cole an important skill....how to shake his booty! It's pretty stinkin funny. He ALWAYS dances to music. If it's on, he's dancing. So now I tell him to shake his booty and he stops and just shakes his hips. Ha! Got to love that kid:) This week has been beautiful, so I got out his water table he got for his birthday and he loves it!!

He also really like the sprinkler.

Pic overload!!

So, like always, life has gotten in the way of blogging:) I haven't had 5 min to sit down in a while!! Cole is one busy little boy. Easter went well. It was a bit different then normal. My mom wasn't feeling well, my sister in law was home sick, and my sister and her fiance and kids didn't make it down. Cole last at church during the singing, then he and I spend the rest of the time in the foyer. He just wanted to play. So it was definitely a different Easter, but it was still nice to get to see the family I did.

Cole gave me a nice scare yesterday. I'm in operation organize the house mode before the baby comes, so I gated Cole, the little girl I watch and I upstairs so I can work on what will be the nursery. I had Cole's bathroom and my room closed off, but they were able to roam the rest of the upstairs while I worked. I went into the bathroom to get something and must not have latched the door behind me. All of a sudden I hear a thud and he started screaming. I ran in and he had tripped and fell into the side of the tub. I couldn't figure out where he hit until all of sudden his eye started swelling and then turned purple.

Panic mode! I ran him downstairs and tried holding the ice pack on it while I called my mom to make sure I didn't need to do anything else (what would I do without my mom). Of course he wouldn't let me put the ice pack on him, even when I played his favorite video for him. I felt horrible. He got his first black eye. He hit it above his eye by his eyebrow. It was even swollen this morning when he woke up and the bruise spread to his eyelid. I will have to post pics once I figure how to get them off my phone (I just got an iphone!!). I've having to give him tylenol off and on since it happened because he gets super fussy.

On to other news, we are down to 1 bottle! Wahoo! After 3 days of 30 minute fits in the morning, he is over not getting his morning bottle. I am dreading taking away his bedtime bottle because he loves it! He gets so excited when he sees it. I also love it because it's our special time together where he cuddles and lets me rock him. But, one day soon I will get rid of it.

I'll leave you with some recent pics of Cole:)

He's so proud of his new big boy cup!

Coloring easter eggs

Ha! These crack me up. This is how I found him watching his video one day

Such a boy!
