Fair Time
We took Cole to the fair Jared grew up going to this past week. Little did we know when we planned it, we would be having record high temps this week. It was 93 degrees with a heat index of 105 when we went. PHEW!!! Not the best time to be pregnant...or at the fair...with a toddler. But you know what, he had so much fun. That made the trip all worth while. He LOVED the bunnies. We could have spent all day in that barn. He was cracking us up, running up and down the isles, stopping to talk to the bunnies. So cute.

Summer Lovin....
Once the 4th of July is over, that means summer is half over. But, that also means time for the really hot weather to stay around. We decided to take Cole to the "beach" on Sunday. I use the word beach lightly because it's water with sand, it's not very clean, and right now there is a bacteria advisory for those who swim in it. Klassy, no? But Cole enjoys wadding in the water and running in the sand.

We decided to do a belly shot since it had been a while. Here I am in all my 32 week glory:)

Happy belated 4th of July!
We had a nice relaxing weekend, for the most part!! It started kind of rough on Saturday with poor Cole being so constipated he couldn't eat and walked around the house screaming and crying. It was awful watching him in so much pain and not being able to help him. I loaded him with prunes, prune juice and did the vaseline trick. Sunday morning it finally started working .... but we are still seeing the ramifications of all those prunes:/
So, Sunday our neighborhood had a parade for the kids. You could decorate their bikes and wagons/strollers and we had a parade around one of the cul de sacs. It was led by a firetruck and followed up by 2 police cars. The kids loved it. It was 90 plus degrees so it was definitely hot, but they hung in there.

After the parade, the fire truck hooked up his hose to the hydrant and let the kids take turns turning it on while the others could run through it. Cole was right up there in the middle of all the big kids running through the water. He loved it!!

By the end of the day, he was a tired little boy.

The next day we met up with my parents for Cole's first parade. Unfortunately it was drizzling for the most part of the parade, but it cleared up by the end. He really enjoyed it, but is such a busy boy he was done by the end. He just wanted to run up and down the sidewalk.

My cute parents:)
