Once again....

I haven't been keeping up with the blog. I have a good excuse though, our ancient computer has been on the fritz and has only been working off and on. Ugh. It's working right now and I have FOUR kiddos in bed. Yup, four. On top of Kennedy who I was 3 days a week (she's 21 months old), my friend asked if I could watch her son one day a week till April. He's a handsome little 6 (almost 7 month) old. So, things are even more crazy on Tuesdays.

Things are great on the kid front. Cole is starting to talk more and more and cracking us up every day. He really is so funny. He is just starting to really get into Eva since she is interacting even more with him. At bed time the four of us snuggle on our bed to read a few books before bed. Cole insists on holding her (for at least a few seconds) before we start. Then before I take him to his bed, he gives Eva a hug and a kiss. Oh so sweet !! I love watching them together. The other day, he realized he can make her crack up by blowing on his hand. She cracks up, which makes him crack up! Whenever I bring her down for a nap, he runs over to her and blows on his hand. He also knows what toys are "sissy's" and picks them up declaring "sissy!!"

I love these kids. They really are amazing. Eva is growing leaps and bounds. At her 4 month appt she was 16.11oz and 27 in long. Off the charts for height and 90 something for weight:) She is doing great, the dr said. He was very impressed with her head control! She insists on sitting up by herself whenever someone holds her. No laying her head down and relaxing on mama anymore. She even started standing up at Cole's train table by herself! Still not rolling. She can do it, just has no desire. Cole was the exact same way! He rolled maybe like 8 times ever before he started crawling. I'm not too worried about it. She loves chewing and playing with her feet. It's too cute. She is such a talker too! She just sits there and babbles on and on and on!

I know I mentioned I was to do a 365 blog, and I have actually taken a picture every day since Jan 1. I haven't figured out how to do it yet, but I plan on posting them. Until then.... here are some pics of my precious babes.

Christmas with the Love's 2011

So here is another picture overload post from our holidays. We had a great Christmas. Unfortunately a week before Christmas, Cole came down with a yucky cold which he then shared with Jared, then Eva got it a few days before Christmas. Because of Eva's reflux, it made her throw up....a lot:( Poor baby threw up all over me at Christmas dinner. Despite feeling icky, both kids were in good spirits!


Cole was very excited when he came down Christmas morning to see all the presents under the tree. He immediately dug into them. We let Eva sleep in, so it was just the 3 of us. Once Eva woke up, we let Cole open her presents. He loved his Rock n Roll Elmo (which I got for $18 I might add:) and his train table. He put one of his little people ramps on the train table and sits on it letting his cars fly off it. It has yet to get old to him!

 Cole thoroughly enjoyed making and decorating the cookies. Believe it or not, he didn't want to eat them, the icing was too messy for his liking. Ha!

Happy New Year!!

We had a very eventful Christmas that included two sick kiddos. Luckily they were still happy as could be! I have so many pictures to upload, but haven't had a chance to sit down in a week!! We had a great New Years which included all of us (except Jared) to bed well before midnight. We were so blessed to 2011 and I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for us! Look for picture overload coming soon. I'm also thinking of turning this blog into a 365 (well 364 as of today) blog where I post pictures of the kids every day. Ok, well I might not post pics every day, but I'll take pictures every day and eventually post them. I'll keep this blog as a place to keep up with the kiddos, like I already do, but try to motivate me to post more so I can look back at how far we've come.
