I found out June 19, that Jared and I are indeed expecting a little Love Bug:) We are excited, nervous, scared... you name it. We have been through a lot since my first pregnancy in January and are just praying for a safe and healthy bundle of joy. I went to the doctor for my 1st appointment. It was routine blood and urine samples (loads of fun I know) and talked with the nurse practitioner. They set our estimated due date to March 3, 2010!! We also set up an appointment for our first ultra sound for August 3. I am a little nervous that something will go wrong, but I am praying for the best. It is in God's hands!!
So far I have felt pretty good (knock on wood). I am more tired than normal ... which is pretty tired. I have periods of nausea but they seem to pass pretty quickly. They are mostly at night and when I first wake up. I try and keep crackers next to my bed and that seems to help. I am also peeing like crazy!!! I have never had to get up to go in the middle of the night, but I am getting up at least 2 times a night... and I'm told it gets worse!! Yikes!! Last night I got up and didn't realize our door to the armour was open and walked right into. Graceful I know:) Luckily it is summer time so I can relax a little more than during the school year. Hopefully the worst of morning sickness will be over by the time school starts. If you are a prayer... keep me and baby Love in your prayers that they are a sticky sticky baby!! According to the bump, this is what they have to say about Baby Love at week 5 (it's the size of an apple seed!!):

Your
embryo (looking kind of like a tadpole) is starting to form major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive). Baby's presence in your
uterus triggers production of
hCG (the hormone detected by
pregnancy tests)... which triggers production of other
hormones like estrogen and progesterone... which trigger all those great
symptoms you've probably been noticing!
