This past weekend was crazy, to say the least. Let me recap it for you. On Friday we took Brutus and Mojo, our cats, to the vet. We put Brutus in the cage, because he tends to freak out when he goes outside and I held Mojo, wrapped in a blanket. Mojo did great the whole trip. Brutus sat in his cage and cried the whole 20 minutes to the vet. Once we got there, they were quiet as mice. That is until the vet came in (after waiting for 35 minutes) and Mojo was 1st. She is our dainty kitty. She is 4 so she runs the house, but tiny. As soon as the vet laid hands on her she growled and hissed. Wher did precious, sweet Mojo go? Mojo weighed in at 7.5 pounds.... told you she was tiny. Then there was Brutus, who didn't make a peep the whole time, until they took him back to weigh him. They said he freaked a little, but from what they saw he is about 13.5 pounds. FATTY!! He is very "solid" the vet said. She also said he could stand to lose a few pounds. I guess no more nightly cat sip for you chump a lump. Finally, we made it home:)
After we got home, I got to go and meet the student I work with and her mom and sister at her therapy place. I was really nervous because I was going to tell her I was pregnant so we could begin preparing Sarah for March, Sarah has Aspergers which is a form of autism. I am her one on one aide and have been with her since 1st grade. We will be in a 3rd grade room this year. I met her therapist and then we were off to go on the paddle boats across the streets. It was so fun!! By the time we got there we had to wait 30 min for it to open, so when the kids were playing I told her mom I was expecting. She was so excited! *Sigh of relief* I knew she would be happy, but I wasn't sure if she would worry to much about when I left. I told her I am not telling my supervisor till schools starts. I am going to push for an aide to come in January so I can train them and they can get to know her before I leave.
Then Saturday we left for Cleveland for Jared's company party. I was nervous because this was the longest drive I have been on since morning sickness graced me with its prescence. Before we left we got a baby name book. It was only 1800 names and it had things like first impression, famous names, nicknames, and things to consider with the name. I read the whole thing to him on the way up and we realized we didn't like it very well. I was actually fine when we got there. We went out to dinner with an older couple and when we got back, we went to the hotel bar with another couple. Pregnant lady at the bar is never that much fun.... but hey this too shall pass. The next day was the picnic at a baseball game. It was flippin 90 plus degrees and pure humidity.
After walking my fat butt to the park I thought I was going to puke from the heat. I never felt right the whole time we were there. Luckily we were under a pavillion. I tried a hot dog, but it didn't like me so we went down and got a pretzel. Anyways, I planted my butt at a table that had a breeze and didn't move much all day. I have to say, Jared and I both won a prize. I won a big blanket with the team logo and I had Jared get a sweatshirt for when I get big and fat:) Everyone couldn't believe we both won (don't ask me the game, I don't get it, I just played:) So after a nice storm passed through we decided to leave. That was the longest trip home, ever!! So if you have stayed with me this long post, here is my pregnancy stuff:

As you move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of her systems are fully formed.
